Selection Announcements

An academic year at the Graduate Program in Pharmacology and Medicinal Chemistry (PPGFQM) usually has two intake seasons, for the selection of 20 prospective Master's degree students and 20 PhD candidates each season, of which at least 20% must be for racial quotas destined to Afro-Brazilians (pretos and pardos) and for Brazilian indigenous populations. Exceptionally, when the number of selected applicants doesn't reach the number of scholarships that can be awarded, there may be organized an extraordinary selection announcement.

The master's degree application process has two steps: an eliminatory written exam on specific subjects and an interview where both the candidate's curriculum and master's thesis project are to be evaluated; The PhD application process is composed of an interview with the candidate to comparatively evaluate the candidates' curriculum and PhD thesis project.

All Master's and PhD applicants must take an English language proficiency test.
