​Criteria for registering:

1. Research activities alligned to PPGFQM mission, vision, and objectives.

2. Scientific and/or technological quality produçtion befitting PPGFQM mission and objectives.

3. Present at least one doctor's degree tutoring or two master's degree tutoring already conducted or still ongoing, over the last 4 years. Though, in case of a first-time request for registering as an Affiliate Professor, the experience as co-tutor and/or tutor in a scientific initiation scholarship program could be taken into consideration.

4. Having at least one scientific and/or technological production (papers, books, chapters, patents) each year over the past 4 years, with at least two as author or first author. In case of scientific papers, only the ones published by JCR Journals, having FI ≥ 10 over the past 4 years will be considered.

5. Having been part of research project teams or having coordinated research projects approved by research funding agencies over the past 4 years.

6. Having taught Graduate Programs courses over the past 2 years. In case of a first-time request for registering as an Affiliate Professor, this criterion can be disregarded.

7. Having at least one international scientific experience over the past 2 years.

8. Having at least one scientific dissemination activity over the past 2 years.

​Criteria for unregistering:

​

1. Research activities alligned to PPGFQM mission, vision, and objectives.

4. Having at least one scientific and/or technological production (papers, books, chapters, patents) each year over the past 4 years, with at least two of PPGFQM students or alumni. In case of scientific papers, only the ones published by JCR Journals, having FI ≥ 10 over the past 4 years will be considered.

6. Having taught at least one course in PPGFQM over the past 2 years.

Observations:

1. Aspects such as post-doc scholarships abroad, CNPq productivity scholarship, or similars will be an asset.

2. For registering and unregistering requests the candidates must fulfill at least 80% of the criteria above, including scientific (and/or technological) production and tutoring.

3. Once registered, a Permanent Professor can be a tutor and/or co-tutor of up to 10 PPGFQM students, of which, at most, 8 can be scholarship recipients supported by research funding agencies (CAPES, CNPq, FAPERJ).

 

Unregistering:

Philosophy: Keeping faculty alligned to PPGFQM mission and objectives, motivated, active, and productive, based on multidimensional meritocracy and not on personal and/or historical aspects.

​Criteria for unregistering:

​

1. Achieving anything less than 80% of the aforementioned criteria for re-registering, already included in this porcentage (and compulsory) is the production (scientific and/or technological).
